Steel lattice transmission towers crossing the New Zealand volcanic plateau

Supporting the Industry. Serving the Nation.

We build, maintain and renew the high-voltage network that powers New Zealand — and we grow the people who keep it running.

The grid behind the country

Every home, hospital, farm and factory in the country runs on the national grid. As New Zealand electrifies and moves to renewable energy, that network has to grow stronger, reach further, and keep running through everything thrown at it. Keeping it that way is skilled, demanding work — and there's more of it every year. Lattice exists to do that work, and to do it to the standard the grid deserves.

Build & renew

New structures, refurbishment and upgrades that extend the life and lift the capacity of the network.

Maintain & respond

Planned maintenance and fast fault response that keep lines in service and the power flowing.

Grow the trade

Bringing people into transmission and building real skills, because the country needs more line workers, not fewer.

What we turn our hand to

From new construction and refurbishment to inspection, testing, maintenance and specialist access — there isn't much across a transmission line we can't turn our hand to. We work the full life of the asset, on the ground and in the air, to keep the network strong.

Why we're here

A stronger grid is a stronger country. We're here to help build it.

New Zealand's path to a cleaner, more electric future runs straight through the transmission network. We want to be part of building it — adding skilled strength to the work that matters most, and leaving the grid, and the trade, better than we found it.
